I Found Another Used Bladecenter To Install

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

If we put the used bladecenter server into the new building, I am not sure it can handle all of the additional needs we will have. I was thinking that if we would purchase another used bladecenter then we should have no worries about them working together and keeping up.

I called a computer buddy of mind to see is he had any used servers and he did but they were all pseries servers and I really wanted to use the same kind. He gave me the number of one of his suppliers and they also just had pseries servers which did not help.

I turned to the internet, which is what I probably should have done in the first place to find another used bladecenter for the new building that would not cost too much. I found three different models before finding one exactly the same as the one that we already had.

I ordered it and had it shipped to the new building so that it could be ready to go before we moved the one from the old office. The big move was set to take place in two weeks and we needed to get there fast because we were outgrowing the old building more every day.
